French & Indian War weekend encampment with George Mercer Co. of the Virginia Regiment & Rutherford's Rangers. Open to public 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Indoor restrooms. French, Natives, frontiersmen and trades to demonstrate colonial craft making.

Multiple stops along this self-paced "walk" offer visitors a chance to learn about 18th-century life from reenactors and meet notable historic individuals who were once at Fort Randolph. The event commemorates the Siege of Fort Randolph. Walk is self-paced and self-guided. Free admission but donations are welcome. The trading post will be open and a small group of colonial reenactors will be on hand to demonstrate frontier life skills. The number of reenactors is limited and by invitation only.

Gun trail woods walk, painted target shoot, H&K, fire starting, kids games. Camp fee is a suitable rendezvous prize. Dealers welcome and prize donations accepted. Camp feed Saturday night.
