Not So Grande Shoot, 17002 14th Road, Plymouth, Indiana. Contact David McCallum, 574-586-9086, longhunter1989@yahoo.com. Camp in any manner; no electricity. Some wood provided, lake nearby, take along your own water. Competitions include woods walk, shotgun, archery, knife & hawk, Hurrican Erin four-man shoot, Schutzen target match, Infamous Shmittonbarger Match. Camp fees $25 per camp includes entries except reentry and schutzen target matches. Pets must be leashed and have proof of vaccinations.

Gnadenhutten Rendezvous, 182 Cherry St, Gnadenhutten, Ohio. Contact Greg Brazierman, brazierman@aol.com. Site of the village on the Tuscarawas River in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, where 90 Native men, woman and children were massacred in March 1782 and cabins set fire by the Pennsylvania Militia. The event takes place on the site where a museum, mass grave and monument stand as well as two reconstructed log buildings.

Rendezvous at Commanding Bluff, Wells County 4-H Park, SR 1, Bluffton, Indiana. Contact Carmen, 260-366-7043, andersoncarmen147@gmail.com. Pre-1840 event. Everyone welcome. No camp fees. Event in conjunction with Wheels of Yesteryear Antique Tractor Show. Early setup Thursday. Wooded area to camp. Food on site. Friday night meal provided by the ladies of the cabin. Freewill donation. Potluck and council fire Saturday night. Sunday church service with Preacher Mike. Showers. Competitions include hawk and knife, archery, skillet toss, atlatl and kids’ games. Food available on the grounds. Campers should call if they plan to attend the Friday night meal.

An encampment of reenactors depicting Wayne’s sub-legions and Kentucky militia in celebration of the fort's 225th anniversary. Tuttle Museum, 514 W. Third St. Defiance, also is to host exhibits and programs throughout the year including a special exhibit of renditions of Fort Defiance in 1794, which is to open in July as well as artifacts recovered from the site and a timeline of events during the Fort Defiance era.

Shawnee Nation URB Rendezvous, Zane Shawnee Caverns and Southwind Park, 7092 SR 540, Bellefontaine, Ohio. Sponsored by Shawnee Nation United Remnant Band. Rendezvous includes but is not limited to black powder shooting contest, tomahawk throwing contest, skillet toss, knife throwing contest and chili cook-off. Venue offers cave tours, Native American museum tours, hiking trails, fish pond, swim pond and Southwind Cafe serving food and drink. Trade blankets and vendors welcome. Open to the public free 11 a.m.-6 p.m. both days.

French and British forces clash as the 1700s come alive.  Fur traders, Native Americans, civilians, and soldiers demonstrate daily activities at the French outpost known as Post Miamie during the French and Indian War.
