Oct. 25-Oct. 28, 2012 - Olde Virginia Primitive Riflemen Fall
Rendezvous, near Smithville, Va. Contact President J.D. Simmerman,
757-477-4517. www.ovpr.us/contact1.html. Early setup starts Oct. 19. Camp
fee $18 ($20 at the gate) per competing adult and $15 for non-competing
tent mates. No fee for juniors ages 14 and younger. One tent member must
register as a competitor. Competitions include woodswalk, smoothbore walk,
ladies and juniors matches, pistol match, scribe's match and hawk & knife
walk. Directions: From US 295, take exit 84A on the left to merge onto I-295
South toward Rocky Mt NC/Richmond International. Then take exit 15A to
merge onto SR 10 East / East Hundred Road toward Hopewell. Follow SR
10E and watch for signs.
