available. Advanced registration due May 22. Advanced registration fees are
$45 per adult for NMLRA members; $55 for non-members. Children ages 17
and younger are free. Dependents 18 and older are $22.50 each. Early
set-up fees are $5 per day per adult if not pre-registered. Trade fee $35;

Public days are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. June 22-29. Camp feast provided.
Competitions include pistol, rifle including Blue Jacket, archery, hawk & knife,
cooking. Daily seminars. Horse camp. Site is a county park at the site of the
Battle of Pecatonica during the Black Hawk War of 1832. Directions: From
SR 11, take CR MM north (at Browntown) to Woodford for six miles. Follow
MW signs. From SR 81 north of Monroe, turn south on CR M (at Jordan
Center). Then immediately turn right onto Lewis Road and go west. Follow
MW signs.

Combo early American Colonial and frontier rendezvous with a Civil War
battle reenactment and encampment. Setup 9 a.m. Aug. 17. Camp fee $15,
which includes one trade blanket, or $25 at the gate. Activities include
period music, horse and wagon rides, fashion show, demonstrations, baked
goods auction, children's candy cannon and other games. Competitions
include black powder shoot (closed to public), archery, hawk and knife, fire
starting and canoe race. Swimming and showers available.
Sept. 7-9, 2012 - A River Through History, formerly the I&M Canal
Rendezvous, Columbia Woods, Willow Springs, Ill. Contact Patrick
Jonas, rebrnfenix@comcast.net. Newly resurrected timeline event through
the Civil War era. Information not yet available on camp fee (but should be
modest) or competitions. Open to suggestions and seeking demonstrators.
Setup Thursday; before 8 a.m. or after 4 p.m. Friday and before 8 a.m.
Saturday. Public hours 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
Location: About 20 minutes from Chicago. Directions: From I-55, take the
exit south onto I-294. Take the 75st St/Willow Springs Road exit. Turn right
onto 75th Street, then left onto Willow Springs Road. Before the bridge is
Columbia Woods on the right.
Sept. 14-16, 2012 - Aitkin Rendezvous, Aitkin, Minn., Aitkin County.

a.m. or after 5 p.m. Saturday. Camp fee $20, vendors $40, $5 a day for
modern (with electricity). Friday school day. Public hours 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Activities include archery, hawk & knife,
hawks, demonstrations, demos. Saturday night potluck. Directions:
Fairgrounds are three blocks north of the only stoplight in Aitkin at the
intersection of SR 169 and 210 on CH 1.
