arrival of voyageurs by canoe, trade session with Native Americans, storytelling, tomahawk

reenactment, 1700-1812. Citizen camp is on the French Commons, a fenced area across
the street from the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park. Setup begins at 1 p.m.
Thursday for citizens camp and vendors. Advanced registration required. Get application at
website, www.spiritofvincennes.org/rendezvous/index.htm. First-time campers are asked to
send a photo. Military camp participants on George Rogers Clark grounds must be
members of the Northwest Territory Alliance and should call 812-882-1776. Military camp
setup is Friday. Public hours 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Directions: From the east, take SR 50 and follow signs to SR 41 south. Take the second
exit onto Willow Street and turn right.
