Opening ceremony: 7 p.m. Sept. 21
Closing ceremony: Noon Sept. 29

Pre-registration due Aug. 21, 2012. Please register in advance
if possible. It helps us decide on number of port-a- johns, amount of
wood and food needed, and other decisions.

Registration fees:
--NMLRA members and spouse or significant other - $45 each
--Non-members - $55 each
--Children 17 and younger - free
--Dependants 18 and older - $22.50 each
--Registration at gate - add $10 per adult
--Early set-up fee - $5/day per adult if not pre-registered
--Trader fee - $35
--Commercial blanket trader - $10

Registration at the gate costs $10 more than advanced
registration.

Early setup
will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, and Thursday,
Sept. 20. There is no early setup fee if pre-registered. For campers or
vendors not registered by Aug. 21, 2012, there is a $5 fee per day, per
person.

General setup starts at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21. Opening ceremony is
7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21. Primitive clothing is required at all times
between 7 p.m. Sept. 21 and noon Sept. 29.

Gate hours for vehicles are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19,
through Friday, Sept. 21. Beginning Saturday, Sept. 22, and for the
rest of the week, gate hours for vehicles are
8-9 a.m. and 4-5 p.m. If
you must arrive late or leave early, please plan accordingly. Vehicles
may be in camp only ONE HOUR. Vehicles must be removed from camp
by 10 a.m. or by 6 p.m.

Public days for the entire camp are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept.
22, and Sunday, Sept. 23; and 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26,
until
the conclusion of the lantern tour. People who want to attend the
lantern tour should arrive by 7 p.m. Admission is $5 per person ages
13-64, with a $20 maximum per family (parents and minor children),
and $3 per person ages 65 and older. Children ages 12 and younger
and service personnel with active-duty military ID are free.

In addition to public days,
long-term and short-term trader areas
are open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, through Friday, Sept.
28.

Rendezvous rules
take effect at the start of opening ceremonies.
Beginning with the opening ceremony, everyone must be in period
clothing at all times.

All clothing, lodges and accoutrements must fit into the 1640-1840 time
period in North America. Absolutely no modern footwear or sunglasses,
unless medically required. Period eyewear is encouraged. Modern
shooters' eye and ear protection is allowed on the firing line only. All
modern items (coolers, cans, bottles, plastic, etc.) must be kept out of
sight at all times.

Turn off cell phones or set them on vibrate and keep them out of
sight. Keep cameras hidden when not in use. Please do not use flash
at night.

A medallion will be required to enter the rendezvous, vote in elections
or enter competitions.

Wood, water, port-a-johns and trash pickup will be provided. Ice will be
sold daily.

NO propane, kerosene heaters, Coleman lanterns or charcoal lighter
fluid will be permitted, except for approved food vendors.

Emergency contact number: 419-601-2495 - Please leave this
number with a friend or relative. In case of emergency, they may reach
scribe Vicki Johnson and she will deliver a message.

Disabled participants: Abide by pre-1840 rules as much as possible.
Carts, walkers and registered service animals are allowed.

Modern camps: In modern area only. No hookups. No campers in
parking areas.

Animal rules: Please see horse camp rules. Only horses, mules and
oxen with proper papers will be allowed. Current health and negative
Coggins certifications will be required. You are responsible for the
conduct of your animals.  If you have any doubts please do not bring
them.

No pets are allowed in primitive areas. Pets are allowed in modern
area, subject to the NRLHF nuisance policy.

Service Animals - the NRLHF follows the ADA (American Disabilities

Food vendors: For licenses and information, contact the Miami
County Health Department, 510 W. Water St., Suite 130, Troy, OH
45373, 937-440-8105.

Traders: You are responsible for contacting Jasmine Grossnickle at
937-372-9261 for information on what animal parts can be sold. You
are also responsible for all collection of taxes or any permits needed. If
there is a dispute, the trade captain's decision is final. Trade blankets
are subject to trade rules.

On the gun range and artillery area, NMLRA safety rules and
regulations apply. The range officer's decision is final.
